Airports

There are two international airports in Costa Rica. Juan Santa Maria about 15 minutes from San Jose (SJO) and four and a half hours by car to Playa Hermosa in Guanacaste where the dive shop, tour office and beach resorts are located. Libera International Airport (LIR) is located 10 minutes from Liberia and only 25 minutes from Playa Hermosa and the beach.
