Arrive at the hacienda, and check-in at the adventure desk. Helpful staff will instruct you where to go for your chosen AM Tour. If you have chosen to go to the Thermal Pools and enjoy the Volcanic Mud, there are Optional Spa Treatments available, please sign up for them before your morning tour.

If horseback riding to the Las Chorreras waterfall, canyoning, tubing or National Park (closed on Mondays) hiking tours, the corral is just steps away. You will be greeted at the well-managed stable by Rene, or one of the other resident cowboys, where you will mount easy-going horses perfect for novices and experts alike. Just a short ride, but you will see reforestation in action.

Your cowboy guide will be happy to point out flora, fauna, and wildlife along the way. Bring your camera in a small hip-pack or backpack, so you can take photos of any birds, butterflies, or wildlife you might see along the way.

If you are doing the canopy tour, it is only steps from the restaurant and activity center. 

After your chosen AM tour, you will return to the ranch's dining room where a delicious buffet and local fruit beverage awaits. Beer, sodas, and alcoholic beverages are available, but not included.

After lunch, head to the natural sauna and open your pores. When you are done, head to the mud vats and layer on some warm, volcanic mud. Take some photos -- these are sure to be ones you won't want to miss getting.

When the mud has dried thoroughly you can rinse off in the showers before relaxing in the thermal pools - one hot, one warm, and one cold. CD with photos of your tour activities and bonus wildlife shots are available at the end of the tour ($20).
After you change into your street clothes, you will be driven back to your Beach Hotel. Optional Spa Treatments are available, but you will need to sign up for them when you arrive.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Transport to most of the tours are via horseback. If you are allergic to horses or don't care to ride, let us know so we can arrange other means
