Costa Rica Scuba Diving Package
Pacific Ocean Adventure Diving, plus Wildlife Observation, Rainforest, Hot Springs, an Active Volcano, and Adventurous Activities designed to provide both young and young at heart a thrill.
Day 1 (Arrival / Liberia Airport): Arrive by air into Liberia International Airport. Although not included, please ask our agents if you would like a representative from our ground operator can meet you outside customs, welcome you to Costa Rica and transfer you to Playa Hermosa.  Checkin at 3 PM. Overnight in your All Inclusive Hotel and Beach Resort deluxe accommodations.  (D/Alc)
Day 2: Relax and soak up some rays while enjoying a tropical fruit drink at the swim up bar or enjoy Optional Tours or Activities like Snorkeling or learn to Scuba Dive! (B/L/D/Alc)
Day 3: Enjoy morning snorkeling, diving, or sleeping in. Have an early lunch today, because you will be picked up at 1 PM for a blast through the Tree-Tops on an exhilarating Canopy Tour. (B/L/D/Alc)
Day 4: Relax on Beach or explore grounds. Enjoy swim-up bar and activities offered by Villas Sol – Volleyball, Mini Dance and Spanish Lessons, Yoga, Pilates, Sailboat tours, etc. (B/L/D/Alc)
Day 5: Check-Out  early so we can depart by 8 AM for the scenic drive to Arenal Volcano (Drive Time approx. 3-3-1/2 hours). Optional Stop about an hour into the drive for a visit to the PUMA Refuge is a wonderful experience – small donation ($5 PP) is required for vehicle to pass. Great photo opportunities as you get nose-to-nose with jaguars, pumas, and scarlet macaws. You will stop for lunch mid-day and as always your guide will be happy to point out monkeys, sloths, and more along the way to enhance your trip. (If you want to leave a little earlier, you can add on an Optional Tour after arriving in the Arenal area). Check in to the Volcano Lodge. Our Guide will meet you for dinner at Perla’s restaurant, renowned in the area for its simple, elegant cuisine – something for all tastes. (B/L/D)
Day 6: You will be picked up at 7:15 AM for the action-packed Pure Trek Canyoning tour. Drop down the canyons and through riveting waterfalls – definitely one of the most exciting adventure experiences available in Costa Rica. Lunch is provided at the Pure Trek’s base camp. Return to your hotel around 1 PM to pickup the items you want to take with you to spend the rest of the afternoon at the Private Eco Thermales Hot Springs – you have to “know someone” to access this serenely beautiful place. Towels, showers and lockers available. Sit in the invigorating thermal waters or enjoy a cocktail and bask in the tranquility. After you shower, enjoy a “family style” Costa Rican meal inside the patio restaurant. Check out the construction, most of it is done with pegs and wooden dowels as the owner’s ancestor’s had built the original patio. Return to the hotel and spend some time gazing at the Volcano from the rocking chairs on your porch or from the group-sized Jacuzzi. Overnight Volcano Lodge. (B/L/D).
Day 7: Check out of Volcano Lodge and Depart at 7:30 AM for your choice of ONE of the following:
* White Water Rafting on the Rio Toro (Class III & IV Rapids) or Rio Sarapiqui (Class III & IV Rapids). River Float can also be exchanged for White Water trip. Lunch is included.
Check into San Jose hotel Best Western Irazu (Upgrade to one of the following for an additional $45 PP: Hilton Doubletree Cariari, Hotel Grano de Oro, Hotel Bougainvillea). Dinner on own. (B/L)
Day 8 (Departure): Today, you return home in need of another vacation. You won’t soon forget your guide or all of your wonderful experiences in Costa Rica. You will be picked up at your hotel three hours before your flight departure time and taken to the San Jose* (SJO) International airport for your flight home. (B)
